Adams Brown Head Start is a comprehensive early childhood program serving children ages 3–5 and their families who meet program eligibility requirements. Our program provides a nurturing, engaging learning environment designed to help children build the skills they need for a successful transition to kindergarten.
Through high-quality early learning, health and wellness services, and family support, we partner with families to promote each child’s development, well-being, and school readiness.
Adams Brown Head Start serves families across Adams and Brown Counties through 8 locations with 11 classrooms. Our classes typically operate Tuesday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing children with a supportive, engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.
Our Home-Based program provides families with personalized support right in the comfort of their own home. A trained early childhood educator visits your home once a week for 90 minutes, sharing fun, engaging learning activities that parents and children can enjoy together using everyday household items.
Families also have opportunities to twice-monthly group socializations, where children and parents come together for play, learning, and meaningful connections with other families in the program.
